Thermistor is the part that stops the electricity flow to the motor circuit when dryer overheats. When this fuse is faulty, your dryer will not start or it will not heat properly. Thermal fuse resistance decreases as the dryer temperature increases. Once the resistance is at the dryer maximum, the control panel will shut off the heat.
